Exhibitions

In the National Museum Contemporary History of Slovenia, we present the events and lives of Slovenians from 1914 to the present with the permanent exhibition Slovenes in the 20th century and occasional exhibitions. We shine a light on better-known and lesser-known important events from recent history that influenced Slovenia and its inhabitants, and enrich them with personal stories. We present the period with extensive collections, which are kept in museum depots and the photo library. Every year we prepare several temporary exhibitions. The permanent exhibition is regularly refreshed, renovated and supplemented.
