The photo-documentary exhibition tells the story of one of the most successful Slovenian musical projects, Maček Muri and muca Maca, which was started in 1979 by poet and writer Kajetan Kovič, composer Jerko Novak and singer Neca Falk. The book hero Maček Muri became a musical hero. In 1984, they recorded the legendary cassette Maček Muri and Muca Maca, which conquered different generations of listeners.
The exhibition chronologically guides the visitor through the 35-year creation of the band (1984–2019). It brings to life the story of the recording of the cassette and serves up portraits of the poet, composer and singer who became a recipe for success. It creates an extraordinary synergy between musicians and different generations of visitors at concerts across Slovenia.
