In the new system of the second Yugoslavia, many cults were established: partisan resistance and the brotherhood and unity associated with it; the cult of manual labour; and the cult of the Communist Party and its leader, Josip Broz – Tito. As a leading statesman, Tito held many titles: General Secretary of the Communist Party of Yugoslavia, President of the People’s Front, Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, and Commander-in-Chief of the Army.
