This year marks the 100th anniversary of the birth of photojournalist Marjan Ciglič, whose extraordinary photographic opus is preserved in the museum’s Fototeka. To mark the occasion, we have prepared an exhibition project. The centrepiece of the project is a temporary exhibition entitled Marjan Ciglič – A Master of Photography of all Times. As part of the exhibition is dedicated to his private life, we have put on display a wedding card that Ciglič received from his friends when he was working in a photography studio in Vipava as the object for the month of July. It was in Vipava that Ciglič met his future wife, Danica Goljevšček, whom he married on 12 July 1947 in Ajdovščina.
