Official visit of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Abishevich Nazarbayev and his wife, Ljubljana, 21–23 May 2002
At the invitation of President of the Republic Milan Kučan, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Abishevich Nazarbayev and his wife paid a two-day official visit to Slovenia.
This was the first visit by representatives of Kazakhstan to Slovenia in the ten years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries. On this occasion, the two countries signed a Protocol in Ljubljana on Cooperation between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs.
