In June, we are opening a temporary exhibition GIFTS TO THE STATE. Collections of gifts to residents of the Republic of Slovenia. This time, the item of the month is also a friendly invitation to visit the exhibition, which will be held until 6 December 2026.
In May 2011, the President of the Republic of Slovenia (PRS) paid an official visit to Estonia with a strong economic delegation – representatives of 25 companies. In addition to meeting with the Estonian President Toomas Hendrik Ilves, he also met with the Speaker of the Parliament of the Republic of Estonia (Riigikogu), Dr. Ene Ergma. They discussed structural problems, the search for political consensus for the implementation of reforms, the legislation adopted by Estonia during the most difficult period of the economic crisis (2008–2010), and Slovenia’s experiences with the presidency of the European Union.
The PRS also visited the NATO Center of Excellence for Cyber Defense Cooperation. The exhibition “Identity of Slovenia” was opened in the Estonian National Library on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of Slovenian independence.
