Engraved army food container Inv. No. MO-33047
The museum’s collection of objects from concentration camps and prisons comprises over 1,000 items. They are classified into three groups: objects confiscated on arrival at the camps, objects made or used by camp inmates in the camps , and objects belonging to camp staff. This army food container was used by the concentration camp inmate Maks Skočir. He engraved the names of the prisons and concentration camps where he was imprisoned: Treviso, Padua (No. 2890), Dachau (No. 65 815) and Neckareltz (No. 9979). He came home via repatriation base on June 13, 1945.
