In the Collection of objects from prisons and camps, the museum keeps five sets of chess pieces made of different materials, bread, wood or metals. Among them are also chess pieces made of aluminum. Pieces with a black thread around them represent black pieces. The figures were made in the Dachau concentration camp in 1944 by an internee from Russia. They called him “Dudka”. He presented the figures to the inmate Srečko Dimac from Ljubljana.
