A collection of objects from the concentration camps and prisons

The collection includes over 1,000 items from World War II. Much of the material was acquired by the Museum in 1960 during the preparation of the temporary exhibition Occupiers' Prisons and Concentration Camps. The objects in the collection are divided into three groups: objects taken away from the inmates on arrival to the concentration camps and prisons, objects made or used by the concentration camp inmates and prisoners , and objects possesed by the concentration camp staff.
