Furniture Collection

One of the most thematically diverse collections, the Furniture Collection, comprises artefacts produced in socialist Yugoslavia. Objects from everyday private life (such as the Cocktail kitchen by Marles) are intertwined with those that were used for official, public purposes (the armchair from the State Council room and chairs by designer Niko Kralj for Stol Kamnik). Several pieces that had become part of everyday life (such as enamel containers by Emo) are on display at our open depots in Pivka.
