In 1946, the Provincial Building Undertaking was established from a military detachment in Vipava and named by Primorje just a bit later on. The activity of the company covered all areas of construction - high and low construction, highways, hydro-construction , energy facilities and concrete prefabricated structures. They constructed throughout the former Yugoslavia and opened several surface mines etc. The Primorje, which was headquartered in Ajdovščina and went bankrupt in 2012, also constructed abroad, namely in Jordan, Iraq, Libya, Algeria, Italy, Austria, etc. In 2016, they donated their photographic opus to the Museum, which covers around 40,000 negatives.
