The National Museum of Contemporary History is located at Cekin Mansion in the middle of Tivoli Park in the centre of Ljubljana. It can be reached by foot, by car or by bus. In the first case please follow the city map. A street leads directly from the centre to the park. Follow the signs along treelined avenues, past fountains and children's playgrounds, towards the baroque mansion, Cekin Castle, home of The National Museum of Contemporary History of Slovenia.
You can also get here by car (coach) and park at Tivoli car and coach park. It is only a short distance from there to the Museum. A city bus number 1, 3, 5, 7, 8 or 25 will take you to Tivoli bus stop, from where you walk towards the park and Cekin Mansion is about 100 metres away on the right. The Museum is located close to public parking facilities (Tivoli Park) and a bus stop for city buses nos 1, 3, 5, 7, 15 and 16. The Museum is 1.5 km from the main Ljubljana Bus station and Ljubljana Railway Station.
