Discover the history of Slovenes in the 20th Century with the National Museum of Contemporary History of Slovenia free guided tour in English language every first Sunday of the month.
Join us at the free public tour through the National Museum of Contemporary History of Slovenia Permanent Exhibition – Slovenes in the 20th Century. The tour will first take you to the year 1914 and the trench line of First World War, followed by the interwar years and the occupation of the Slovenian territory in the Second World War, and concluded with the postwar period, the 1980s and the Slovenian Independence War.
The tour takes place every first Sunday of the month at 10.30 am and lasts for approximately 90min. To ensure a safe and enjoyable tour for everyone, the maximum number of tour participants is 30. To book a place simply express your interest on the day at the reception desk in the lobby.
