The
National Museum of Contemporary History |

is a state museum, which provides a central public service in
the area of the entangible heritage of contemporary history, from
the begining of the 20th century.
On the basis of its mission, it preserves, studies and
comunicates the material and non-material heritage in the sphere
of the history of the
Slovene ethnic space from the begining of the 20th century.

Slovenes in the 20th
Century
The twentieth century was one of the most stirring periods of
Slovenian history. Slovenians experienced several states and
types of government, we survived two World Wars, entered the
technological revolution and in our final war, the war for
independence, achieved a sovereign state.

Fascism and Slovenians - Selected Images

The exhibition presents a selection of art works, photos and
life stories that illustrate the Slovenian-Italian relations
