A bottle of milk

January’s Object of the month is symbolically linked to the beginnings. Thus, of a year as life.

A bottle of milk and children’s dummy was kept for 50 years by Ljerka Žulovec as a reminder of her children’s early years. Borut, the last of her children was born in 1952.
In recent years, both of the objects – like most other donated objects in our museum – were kept by Ljerka’s daughter Vlasta Gustin, who kindly donated them for our newest temporary exhibition “They never had it better?”.
